Dit werk is tot op heden nog niet uitgevoerd in het bijzijn van de componist (2001 /2021);

Fantasie op arabisch-exotische thema’s, onregelmatige maatsoorten, zoals opus 33, maar ritmisch gecompliceerder en grootschaliger.

Toentertijd gecomponeerd voor een schone, exotische, Oosters uitziende jongedame, voor wie de componist toentertijd aanminnige gevoelens had.
Een echte 'Sheherazade'....
De dame in kwestie verhuisde echter naar verre oorden zodat er van een verdere amoureuze ontwikkeling geen sprake meer kon zijn.
 
In het middendeel vinden we een langdurige prachtige E-groot-passage.
E majeur is de toonsoort van dierenriemteken Leeuw...
Aangezien de dame in kwestie het sterrenbeeld Leeuw had, is deze passage in het bijzonder een hommage aan haar en haar stralende persoonlijkheid...

At the time it was composed for a beautiful, exotic, oriental-looking young lady, for whom the composer had amiable feelings at the time.
A real 'Sheherazade'....
However, the lady in question moved to faraway places so that there could be no further amorous developments.

In the middle part we find a long beautiful E major passage.
E major is the key of zodiac sign Leo...
Since the lady in question was in the zodiac sign of Leo, this passage in particular pays tribute to her and her radiant personality...
