Symphonia opus 21, fanfare-orchestra, played
by the Frysk Fanfare Orchestra on the World Music Contest of 1991:
St.
Caecilia, Januari, 1992, Frans Stoks:
The enjoyment of the concert began with the
Symphonia opus 21 by Marc van Delft. The sound has something visionary, it
reminds us of great, inhospitable landscapes, loneliness, but without
desperation.
St. Caecilia, June 1992, Cunéra van Lier:
‘The
composition Symphonia has left me with deep admiration for the composer.’
‘The music was very imaginative.’ ‘Marc van Delft knows how to make a
fanfare orchestra sound exuberant, with help of a very intelligent use of
instrumentation.’ ‘Very beautiful music which deservices a place in the
repertoire of the fanfare orchestras.’
